Canada : This is Who We Are

 

This is who we are,

an Identity once lacking,

now a nation of hockey lovers,

Stompin Tom,

and winter .

Kind and compassionate,

but just a bit aloof,

and getting better.

Getting our legs

under this sky, our roof ,

across the world,

enough for a simple rant or two ,

but not much more than that for now .

We are getting better and

our mosaic nation

is finally a connected country,

and this is who we  are.
