Haze

Haze

There’s a haze
Across the west
& shorelines
Are blurred with mist
Clouds blow fast
Across the sky
& the sound
of distant thunder
Carries In the air
Eastward as the
sunshine
and the shadows
fall.

Rent

Rent

WE pay rent
for our earthy
habitation
for the sky
the sunrise
moon and stars
For the water
And the earth ,
Their equivalents
the many angels
and our rent,
the daily actions
made for peace
and for forgiveness.

The Wandering

The Wandering

Drink the
Bitter waters
Of our shores .
I no longer recognize
My home .
The doors
white painted
Handles,locks
All changed
in a darkness filled
with only wandering
stray cat
I wish to cry
but I cannot
while others watch
in pillowed semi sleep
from once lit
sacred libraries,
now turned shaded
bedroom windows.
