In a language of flowers
Each Coloured Petal
A fragile,
Delicate stroke ;
Bouquet sent
A faint scent of lily,
A hint of Gardenia,
A love of soul
ever present;
A pure and hidden secret
Beyond life.

In a toque and white
Beard
Doing pantomimes
In the air, looking up
And smiling;
He’s gone beyond
Even the simplest

To meaning,
On Mother’s day

The images
Are clearer now
At night,
As if the lense cap
Has been lifted.
And a face is a dream
The mind’s eye
fluttering wing
Once more ecstatic
In the shadows,
mouthing miracles.

Sitting on a bench
Pensive
head down,
stands up
And suddenly
disappears
Into a laneway,
By the library.

A human
Condition;

When old worlds end
And new worlds begin
We long
For simplicity & comfort
Of old worlds,
But change doled out
Is the only certainty,
And creation a necessity

Back to the Secret Beach
In celebration of the end of this year and and the beginning of the New I took a short journey to
A secret beach
1/
On the path to
The secret beach
is a sun dial memorial
With an Inscription
that reads:
Time flies
Suns rise
And shadows fall
Let it pass by;
Love reigns
Forever over all.
It is Anonymous.
2/
Over the bridge
of still waters
the fountains
Have now ceased
And the mallards
Sit meditative
on mirrored water
Among reeds
And yellow
floating leaves.
And the waters of
Reconciliation
Lapping,
With their voices, all
Come out to meet me
3/
Pebbles
and coloured
Stones mixed
with driftwood and debris,
the remnants of a multicoloured Life,
Grey now,
greet me as
tenant stands,
crosses
Self by the sea,
That leads
to the portals
Of a blue infinity.
