I haven’t been
where you have been.
I don’t know
the things you know
but as sure,
as surely,
as you have been
and known the places
and the things
that you have seen ,
I will journey there
far
and on my own
and will return
after I have
been and seen
and known ,
the places where
you’ve been.
And we shall then
begin
to be,
those who live within
each other
and within
the very one
and
the one within
ourselves .

One Hundred Thousand
A hundred thousand lives
are passing before my eyes
But none of them
compares to you
A hundred thousand loves
are passing by my heart
but none of them
not a one
Is anything like you.
I Will Cleave to the One I love
I will cleave

In the beauty that comes
from inside,
and to and from above ,
to the beauty of nature
without.
There’s no lasting beauty in abandon ,
no true joy in a One night stand .
It’s empty with a promise
of panacea .
There is only darkness
hiding there
and a sliding
of the wandering
errant hand .
Conclusion
I’ve come to the conclusion
like Christ that there can be no great art ,
no hand of G_d stuff,
worthy of the sacrifice,
without suffering.

If you really
want to try
to know G_d
read the Bible
part one and two,
read Torah
and the Talmud,
the Zohar and
the Qu’aran
and then read Siddharta,
but most of
all read Rumi ,
trust in your
innate goodness,
and in the One
above all .
